Recorded in about 15 mins after I bought my first bass just to see what it sounded like. Not happy with it; timing is off, tones are horrible (particularly the clean guitar sound), but again posting something to shame myself into doing more.
In an attempt to shame myself into posting more creative things, I’m throwing up some guitar noodling - the idea is I’ll star posting the unpolished stuff I’ve got laying around and be shamed into finishing things off and posting them more often.
This was the first thing I recorded when I got my Toneport. That was 5 years ago this month and the first time I cut my teeth on home-recording.
Finally built myself a decent rig. Hoping the new horsepower will spur a period of creativity.
I’ve decided to move away from my old accounts, which were all under my actual name, and post under a thin veil of anonymity - so at least when people Google my name the non-professional me is hidden.
I’ll be setting up alias accounts in the near future - but for now, this is my new hub.
Shame is a powerful thing - I'm hoping to shame myself into posting a new thing a week and to learn some new stuff in the process.
Once a week I'll be posting something I made, be is photography, graphic design, music or whatever in an attempt to shame myself into getting better and actually doing something mildly creative.
